Welcome to Bhavan’s Sheth RA College of Arts & Commerce, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

In the last few years, the college has made a mark in academic fraternity. The representation of the college has reached up to the Indian Parliament; it has reached overseas as well up to the Olympic Games. The college being a part of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan – recognised by the Government of India as a heritage institution – justifies and carries forward the legacy gracefully.

As an academic researcher, experienced teacher and administrator, it has been my privilege to introduce innovative practices new courses and enhance quality at various levels in the college.

“Let Noble Thoughts Come From All Directions And Let Them Be Used For Larger Benefit In the Society” is the motto of the college. With this vision, the college aims at overall development of the students, making then not only successful careerists, professionals and entrepreneurs but also responsible citizens of India and, above all, good human beings by inculcating ethics and values like honesty, integrity, empathy, compassion, service to society and a positive approach to life in them.

I wish higher and higher esteem for the college. I sincerely thank my Management Trustees for putting trust in me which has enabled me to work freely, dedicatedly and take timely decisions. With tremendous support and motivation of the Management, I have been able to introduce several new programs like BS-BBA, MS/BS-Liberal Arts and BA and MA in Journalism on self financed basis in the college. I also thank the faculty members as well as non – teaching staff for their commitment, relentless support and cooperation. I am thankful to my dear students for their obedience and respect and love for me. All these collectively, have kept me going for all these years.
